What exactly is a Notre Livre book?
A personalized book written from your real memories: the novel of your love story, a tribute biography of someone you love, or your own memoir. It reads like a real book, with chapters and scenes, nothing invented, and it is written in English with North American spelling.
Is the writing done by AI?
Yes, the writing is AI-assisted and we say so clearly. Your Story Director is an AI interviewer, not a human biographer. You review the entire text and request corrections before approving it, and nothing is printed before your approval.
Do I have to pay to try it?
No. Your first 5 messages need no account and no credit card. Creating an account, completing your brief and reading your first page are free. You pay only when you start writing the full book.
How much does it cost?
The digital edition starts at C$49. Printed hardcover packages start at C$95 for a love story or tribute book and C$159 for a memoir. Prices are in Canadian dollars and include shipping to Canada. There is nothing extra to pay at checkout.
How long does it take?
The digital edition is usually ready within 48 hours of payment and a complete brief. Printed books are printed on demand by our partner Lulu; printing and tracked delivery to Canada are estimated at 16 to 18 business days after your final approval. Plan ahead for a birthday, an anniversary, Mother's Day or the holidays.
Can I add photos?
Yes, as many as you like, in every package. Photos are optional: you can complete and order your book without any.
Where do you ship?
From this Canadian site, printed books ship to addresses in Canada, shipping included. If the book is shipped from outside Canada, any import taxes or fees are paid by the recipient. Digital editions (PDF and EPUB) can be downloaded anywhere.
Can I get a refund?
Each book is made to order from your memories, so once writing has started it cannot be cancelled or refunded, except as described in our Terms of Sale. Before you pay, the conversation and your first page are free so you can decide with confidence.
Who owns my book and my memories?
Your book is yours to read, keep and give. Your memories are used only to write it. You can delete your project and your account from your space at any time.
